Summary and Reflection:

The lesson consists of whole group discussion and introduction to Passive Transport and Osmosis. After the introduction, students are presented with a PowerPoint presentation that provides the students with informatin about Passive Transport and Osmosis. Students are then to compete a worksheet related to Passive Transport and Osmosis. As a formative activity prior to the quiz students will be give the opportunity to self-assess by playing a questions and answers game made using PowerPoint presentation software.

I really enjoyed this activity because I was able to directly apply it to the lesson I was going over that week with my students. It was perfect because my special education need as many practice opportunities as possible and the self-assessment activity was a perfect way to incorporate both PowerPoint and visual representations.
